ESPRIT Fundamentals Training Manual on sale... |
| Precision
CAD/CAM Systems, Inc. (PCS, Inc.) today announced that
the 2003 ESPRIT Fundamentals training manual is now on
sale. Using this manual, ESPRIT CAM software users will
have a quick guide at their fingertips to access instruction
for the latest version of the ESPRIT software from DP
Technology.
Richard
McMillen, a CNC Programmer at Emerson EPT said, “I
have used the manual and feel this ESPRIT training
manual is well written. It is easy to understand
the information presented. It is organized in a manner
that allows new users to open the manual to Chapter
One and, by first reading the information and then
doing the lab exercises, the users will begin to
feel learning the very powerful ESPRIT software is
not difficult. The training manual is also a great
reference because it has additional tips that supplement
the “Help” section of ESPRIT. The training
manual helps to reduce the learning curve of ESPRIT,
which allows one to become more productive quickly.”
The
2003 ESPRIT Fundamentals training manual is designed
to partner with the redesigned ESPRIT 2003 software.
The ESPRIT 2003 CAM system delivers CNC programming
for 2–5 axis milling, 2–22 axis turning,
2–5 axis wire EDM, multitasking mill-turn machining
and B-axis machine tools. A separate manual covers
ESPRIT 2003’s wire EDM capabilities. There
have been several improvements to the software for
ESPRIT’s
version 2003 and the training manual clearly outlines
what has changed and how to approach those changes
from an operational standpoint. The manual takes
the programmer from project beginning to end with
creating geometry, modeling, surfaces, milling, machine
set-up, turning and lathe programming with the ESPRIT
software. Also, a modified working copy of ESPRIT
is now included with the manual for educational purposes.

2004: PCS,

|
| PCS,
Inc. signs a strategic alliance with 3D-in-Focus. 3D-in-Focus
is a leader in the CAD/CAM markets in VA. This is a first
step towards an alliance with other software and hardware
vendors that are independent and focused on customer
satisfaction. Most larger VARS are centered on profit,
and while this isn't a bad thing it does not always have
the customer in mind. Precision Cad/Cam Systems, Inc.
is centered on customer needs and technology solutions
for the Mid Atlantic region. Our alliance with 3D-N-Focus
(who shares the same goal) is beneficial for our customers.
